RTE Welding & Fabrication
The 4" kit has amazed me and silenced all the sceptics in our local LR club. As you can see from the pictures I have armour plated the underside adding substantial weight. Even with all the extra weight and high centre of gravity with the 35” tyres, I have never felt unsafe even on the most horrendous of slide slopes. On the open road I comfortably travel at 110 km/h with the front sway bar connected. Combined with the RTE 4” kit, 35” tyres and double lockers my standard D2 has been transformed into a monster rock crawler and is doing very well in the club championships where it competes against mostly bobtailed rangies and modified Defenders. Truly a well engineered product. Well done.

Last weekend fun with the '03 Disco running the RTE spacers for the SLS type rear suspension. Thanks to Rovertym Engineering for a quality product.

I love the bumper and cannot wait to get back out to the swamp and not have to rely so much on a shovel the next time I bury my ass in the mud.

I finally got some time to unpack and get your bumper installed today. I have to say it looks great, is well made and was one of the easiest bolt-on's I've ever installed in my 62 years. Once I got all the cheesy plastic and other bumper junk off it only took about 30 minutes to bolt the new one on. So easy a cave man can do it.

The Rovertym slimline bumper survived through the roll over of my 1989 Range Rover. When removing the front bumper from the rolled 1989 the bolts still slid right out. I literally pulled them out by hand completely straight. Installation on the replacement 1991 was just as easy. The bumper survived the roll over completely. Other than a few scratches, it remained intact, unbent and completely reusable.
